About Ruth

Ruth is a fully qualified Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals to live safer, more independent lives. Her approach is rooted in compassion, practical expertise, and a deep understanding of the challenges people face at home and in the community.

Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, Ruth founded Equipped OT to offer tailored workshops and services that empower people to take control of their wellbeing.

Based on the beautiful north coast of Northern Ireland, Ruth finds inspiration in the landscape and the community around her. When she’s not running Equipped OT, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs along coastal paths, and getting lost in a good book.

Equipped OT reflects Ruth’s belief that small changes can make a big difference — and that everyone deserves to feel confident, safe, and supported.
